Start with High Value Words: Start with words that have the most common letters and the most vowels. Words such as CRANE, SLATE, AUDIO, or POINT are ideal as they can eliminate a lot of possibilities early on.
Prioritize Letter Coverage Early: On the first 4-6 guesses, restrict yourself from hitting the same card over and over. Best to try to hit as many cards as possible since it will open clues for multiple boards at once.
Track Progress Systematically: With 16 puzzles it is important to stay organized. Concentrate initially on the boards which have the most hints of green and yellow.
Prioritize Easy Words: There are a few words which will become apparent before the rest. Clearing the easier words makes the page less cluttered and easier to focus on the rest.
Watch for Repeated Letters: Too many five letter words have repetitions such as LL, EE, SS, TT. Do not forget to try out for repetitions if at is a particularly difficult word with many indicators.
